16. Problems Signing Up for Faxxis Service
If you were unable to sign up because your browser does not allow
cookies, or you have disabled cookies, you will need to enable cookies
in order to sign up.
Internet Explorer 5.5 users:
Click Tools | Internet Options, then click the "Security" tab
On the Security dialog window, click the "Custom Level" button
Scroll down to the "Cookies" section and enable:
"Allow cookies that are stored on your computer"
and
"Allow per-session cookies (not stored)"
Netscape Communicator 4.76 users:
Click Edit | Preferences, then click the "Advanced" option from the
menu on the left.
Select "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server." and
click OK
If cookies are already enabled on your PC, then the problem could be with your
network. If you are behind a proxy server on a network, it is possible for
cookies to be filtered. If this is the case, please contact your network administrator,
who will need to make some configuration changes on the proxy server to allow
cookies.
If you experience any other problems signing up for the Faxxis service, please
contact Faxxis Customer Support with
a description of the problem you are having, including any error messages you
may have received.
17. How do I cancel my Faxxis service?
To cancel your Faxxis account, please go to www.faxxis.com/cancel_form.pdf on the Faxxis website. Print out the form and follow the instructions on how to cancel your account.
18. What do I use the PIN for?
Your PIN is used to verify your account when dialing in over the phone
to check voicemail. The PIN is not used by callers when dialing your
Faxxis number, and you should not share your PIN with anyone else.
To change your PIN, login to your account and click "Receive Settings".
Enter your new PIN twice and save the change.
19. How do I recover a lost login password?
If you have lost your login password, you may have it emailed to you . Go to the Faxxis Login Page . Enter your username and the password you believe is correct. If the password is not correct, a "Forgot Password" link will appear. Click on this link and your password will then be e-mailed to the e-mail address registered on your account.
If you are still unable to login, please contact Faxxis Customer Support and include a description of what happens and any errors you receive when you try to login to your account.
