A fax is sent to you from a fax
machine to your Faxxis Number. The fax call will be answered
by our Data Center. Our servers read the fax number and send
an electronic copy to an email address that you associate
with your Faxxis Number.
Faxes sent your Faxxis number are delivered to you as email
attachments in either TIFF or PDF formats (your option).
TIFF files are viewed with software embedded in most
versions of Microsoft Windows. PDF files are viewed using
Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded free from
www.adobe.com
Fax to email allows you to eliminate expensive dedicated fax
lines as well as fax machines. Receiving this way also
eliminates lost faxes as they arrive and can be stored in
your current email system.
Faxes can also be received anywhere that you have access toy
our email. you also have the luxury of receiving your faxes
in digital format anywhere you access your email.
Additionally, you can receive multiple faxes at the same
time so your callers will not experience any busy signals.
